One of my major efforts has been to attempt to lock up the Transportation Trust Fund.  In the last twelve years, over $1.2 Billion has been diverted from this “trust” fund for other non-transportation purposes.  (A few years ago, Governor Warner shifted $317 million out of this same Transportation Trust Fund.)  The House of Delegates has passed this measure, but it has yet to be approved by the Senate.  I will continue working for this Amendment until it passes.
